We are looking for a highly skilled Engineer or
PhD in algorithms and robotics to join our team as a Research & Development Software
Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
● Create a geometric model of the physical system to facilitate accurate simulation and
calibration.
● Investigate and develop advanced algorithms for embedded SLAM (Simultaneous
Localization and Mapping).
● Work on advanced 3D processing algorithms (filtering, cleaning, accuracy
enhancement...) for higher grade data.
● Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to final
implementation.
● Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and application specialists in distributed teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
● Contribute to the development of integrated systems combining lidar, IMU, vision and
GNSS technologies, with lidar being the central piece
Essential Skills and Attributes:
● Expertise in developing algorithms for embedded systems.
● Expertise with SLAM technologies.
● Proficiency in C++.
● Experience with lidar technology is an advantage.
● Fluent in both French and English.
● Effective verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong team collaboration skills.
● Ability to work effectively with international teams.
Desired Skills:
● PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Experience with 3D point cloud processing and cleaning.
● Background in robotics and sensor fusion techniques.
● Knowledge in visual odometry or camera/image processing.
● Familiarity with probabilistic methods such as Kalman filter, Particle filter, etc.
● Experience with Linux and real-time embedded systems.
